I have an all-year-round, any-occasion, pants-or-skirt affinity for boots. I’m drooling over this season’s above-the-knee boots. I’ve been rocking Sandra’s suede, garage-sale boots she gifted me- like, everyday for a week. I pulled a (nearly) all-nighter sewing a wool vest in just the right color to match my vintage boots found in Encinitas. & it took a year-and-a-half of living back in Eastern Oregon, but after a fascinatingly detailed tutorial on boots at the Pendleton Roundup from Sean the Stetson regional rep: I’m now the proud owner of my first pair of hand-crafted Stetsons. Yup, I love boots.
So, when Amanda requested boots-in-the-barn images: I understood. I get that there is something about boots, something about barns & horses, that tells an Eastern Oregon girl’s novella. It took no convincing for me to slip on my Stetson’s to hangout with Amanda & Jordyn. I got to shoot Jordyn last spring: that’s when I first drowned in her deep-blue eyes. Now it’s your turn!
Amanda, Jordyn is the luckiest to have a mom with hopes & dreams & love for her daughter. I’ve loved watching Jordyn grow & change over these last few months–so it rocked to celebrate her 1st birthday with a fotoshoot. in boots.

Motherhood in all it’s glory: I love the quiet patience I see in Amanda in this image.

Isn’t Amanda one hot mama!!!
Taleah: Jordyn is lucky to have a babysitter who loves her so much & gives her lots & lots of attention. & this last picture of Jordyn begging for you, tells me she loves you back. Thanks for scheduling Amanda & Jordyn’s fotoNovella!
